Chicken Pox

I have been away from school with Chicken Pox.  Luckily I have a very mild dose and hope to return to school very quickly.  Unfortunately, it is contagious and I hope I have not passed it on to any of the children in my class.  This is the second time I have had it, so it is true you can get it again.  Please check your children for pox and keep them home if they break out in mysterious spots.

    Dear Ms Taylor,
    I hope you feel better very soon and that you are back at school on Monday. I wanted to tell you that today was Kate's Christening. Fr Jan put special oils then water on Kate's head. We all got to light our Baptism candles. We had a party at our house afterwards. She had a special girl cake with an icing baby girl and hearts and her name in blocks on it.

    Hi Hannah. What an exciting day. Later this year we will be learning about Baptism in Religion. Perhaps if you have a video or some photos of it you can bring it in so we can all learn about it. I won't be back on Monday because I still have a few spots. No more have appeared since Friday morning so I hope to be back soon. Ms Taylor
