Look How Easter Eggs Are Made
Mmmmmm! The smell at this factory must be delicious.
What do you think about Easter Eggs?
Do you like bunnies or chicks or eggs?
Do you like solid ones or hollow eggs?
Do you make a basket or a nest for the Easter Bunny?
Do you leave anything out for the Easter Bunny at your house?
Do you go to Church at Easter?
Do you like Hot Cross Buns?
Do you know why they have a cross on them?
Do you eat all your eggs on Easter morning or do you make them last?
Do you like flattening out your silver wrapper?
What do you like best about Easter?
We have been very busy in the last few days writing poetry. We have some budding poets in our class. Look out for some of their great work over the weekend. Ethan is especially proud of his work and can't wait to share it on our blog. Ms Taylor

I like the chocolates by geordan
ReplyDeleteMy favourite part about Easter is finding the Easter eggs by using a map the Easter bunny leaves. When we have trouble reading the map we wake up Dad to help us. We find eggs all over our house. Luckily the Easter bunny writes our names on the eggs so we don't fight over them.

ReplyDeleteVery interesting movie clip - there is a Cadbury factory in Hobart, Tasmania. I went there when I was a little girl and watched them make chocolates and easter eggs. When we came out, they gave us all a bag of sample chocolates - it was fun and YUM! I know Percy likes brown chocolate as well as white. I get into trouble every Easter from his mum for giving him a HUGE egg or bunny. From Percy's Nanny Lizzie.

I wonder if anyone else in 2B has a parent that loves Easter eggs as much as the kids? Callum and his brother and sisters love to go and choose an egg for their Dad every year- and then help him eat it!!

ReplyDeleteAt Easter I put carrots, milk and eggs out for the Easter Bunny and I get lots of Easter eggs. Late at mid night I look and see if there are Easter eggs yet and I eat them at breakfast. Sometimes I eat them at lunch time. By Luka.

ReplyDeleteMy favourite thing to do at Easter is melting my Easter eggs. I melt them in the microwave so my Dad doesn't steal them. I have a mould to put the melted chocolate in lemon shape. I put it on the side of the glass so it looks like a cocktail but it is a chocolate lemon not a real one. By Joseph

ReplyDeleteHi Callum, Beth and Megan. I have never been to this Cadbury factory in England or any other Cadbury factory either. Have you? I love Cadbury chocolate it is my favourite kind. I only like milk chocolate, that is the brown one. What sort do you all like? Ms Taylor

ReplyDeleteWe just logged onto the blog to show our friend Bailey in 1A the easter egg video and saw that you had left us a message. we are very excited!
Megan says "I like white bunnies but like EVERY kind of chocolate."
Bailey says "I like white bunnies with brown spots."
Callum says "I like cadbury dairy milk."
Beth says "I love cadbury mint chocolate."
Dad likes very dark Lindt chocolate. Mum says that he chooses that one for Easter as nobody else in the family likes it and he gets to eat it all by himself. Callum isn't very good at leaving chocolate alone in the fridge normally!!
We have never been to the cadbury factory, but Dad has been to the one in Tasmania. He is going to show us some photos later.
We have been making Easter cards all afternoon and drawing lots of pictures of Easter eggs on them. We have all been practicing our writing by writing messages to everyone on them. We are posting some to our grandmothers in New Zealand.
